Started stripping the front of the engine to get to the magneto. Such a simple, easy motor to work on. Just about stripped everything using a size 13 spanner.

We have a few Gutbrods over here in the UK. They come up periodically on EBay. One day I might get one for my fleet. I know a few lads who got them and they swear by them. Also fantastic ploughing machines too I heard.

Cheers Andrew

Can you still find Gutbrods in Germany? Are spares readily available?

I am fairly sure there is a Gutbrod Owners' Club/ Forum in Germany for spares and advice.
