A photo would help.  :camera:

The first thing that comes to mind is the reel mower I mowed with as a kid. Is this what your inquiring about? Walked many miles behind one of these.

I'd go at least $5.01. He has to make something on it.

I wonder if Reo built their own motors? I can't remember ever having any problems with that motor Considering the cheesy air filter they came with, that's saying a lot.

Yes Reo built their own motors. They also spin the opposite direction of most engines. I have a Reo Royale and love that little mower. One of the best running small engines I have.uploadfromtaptalk1447381269261.jpg

Thanks. I have wondered about that in the past.

Looking at that motor reminds me of the Chrysler slant 6.

Now that you mention it, ours had to have the rope wound onto the hub to start it. I wouldn't have thought about it if you hadn't mentioned it.

Ah, brings back many memories.  Ours was rope start.  First photo is when i was a youngster with my brothers and the second was a reshoot of the first photo using a collector friends Reo and red wagon.  We did the reshoot at Rough & Tumble in 2010
