A few items I saved from the dumpster yesterday!

Some of the heavy wire shelving. This set is 6' tall X 18" deep X 4' long.

Four more shelves that attach to a wall.

A pair of very nice glass top end tables. The legs are solid cast iron and the glass has beveled edges.

A couple rings with legs on them.

A working battery charger.

Some misc. goodies. The hitch is a U-Haul and looks barely used.

Nice bunch of salvage Kenny. Real nice, actually. All good stuff. It always amazes me to see stuff like that at the side of the road. Funny you should mention Uncle Willie. I saw an older blue Suburban yesterday and it reminded me of him.

Nice haul! That. Rack in the first picture is probably stainless. I have seen those in my wife's kitchen supply catalogs. And I see them in grocery stores and restaurants.
The rings in the third picture is a stand for a patio fireplace. I have one with a copper fire pan.

Nice haul, Kenny.  When I saw the third picture I thought that would make a nice fire pit, gues I was right since JD Dannels has one.   I'm also surprised the glass isn't broken or cracked on those tables.  You did quite well I think.

Thanks, guys! The end tables come apart, the glass lifts off and the legs have 2 bolts threaded into each leg. I was already comptemplating using the rings with a fire, just need to put some grilles on them for cooking.

Nice haul. We have a shelf just like that in the kitchen that an office building in Charlotte got rid of. They are great. My neighbor just brought one home from the hotel he works at.

Kenny, the shelf unit is just like what I paid $69 for a few weeks ago.  Great haul!

The other shelf pieces are the same stuff except a wall mounted type.

Kenny, that's a great haul, especially if you can use the stuff.  Those tables are really something.  Very nice.

My son lives in the big city in an apartment complex with a high turn over rate.  Every time he comes down he has stuff for me he got out of the dumpster, which just happens to be next to his rented garage.  Last time it was a Stihl chain saw that we got started and ran in 5 min.  Needed a new chain.  Brand new GPS unit still in the package.  Radios, tools, and on and on.  Would not be surprised if part of it wasn't lifted from some rightful owner.  Nothing wrong with dumpster diving, especially when is next to your garage and can see it from your 3rd floor window.  One mans trash is another mans treasurer.

Nice haul Kenny...  I'm looking for a hitch like that right now...

Good haul!  I found identical hitch on a bridge couple years ago,,shocked wife when I hammered on the brakes to pick it up,,,she  wonders how I spot stuff like that...always keep an eye on the ground and scan...keep your eyes moving,,shows you are awake and paying attention,

My eyes are constantly moving as I drive! I check the rear view almost as much as I look forward! Left over from truck driving!

Somehow Freecycle just never seemed to have caught on. People would just rather waste things.
