I just picked up a lawn roller for $30.00, I'm not sure what sure what make it is but for the price I couln't pass it up.

OK...Here's a tip then ............ If it weighs 920 lbs. do not try to pull it around with a Yardman 20hp tractor. Trust me when I say it is not good for the tranny.

Luckily I was able to tear mine apart and get her working again ........ but I think I was very lucky.

He said it weighs about 300 lbs and it doesn't require water.

That's a great deal! I bought one of the large ones from TSC year before last (paid a lot more than that too!). I filled mine with sand and used motor oil. It weighs in at just over 700 lbs. After reading Sargs' post, I hope the 314 is up to it...again. I've pulled it for 2 years now with seemingly no ill effects yet.

That's a pretty good deal!
I made mine out free material, but my time and whatever the welder consumed wasn't invoiced...so I'll pretend it was free.
It is duel duty though, straight roller or spike aerator, full up calculated at 480 I think, but don't use that much with the spikes.
