I was the high bidder. Thanks for the heads up Billy M! It's about 2 hours away. I like my GE but not crazy about the front mount mower deck. This will be used as one of my mowers.

Your welcome!  I used to have one of those.  Easy machine to work on.  Simple electronics.  Constant run motor w/clutch.  It's similar to the GE E8 & E10.  The belly mount deck is nice.

It does have Prestolite motors that are pretty much extinct.  Mine still ran fine.  You can get new bearings for them at any bearing shop.  You can make brushes if you get creative.  Armatures would be near impossible to find.  If it runs, you should be fine.  I would run it.  Check the bearings on all the motors.  Replace as necessary.

I'm glad someone here got it!

Good to know that I have someone to contact that actually has owned one and knows something about them. I have a load to pick up next week and it will be on the trailer......looking forward to bringing it home. Again thanks for the heads up, I would never have found it with out you posting here!

No problem.  You can download the manual & other info here.  Scroll down to the Sears tractor.  That's actually the one I used to own!
