I'm sorry I got confused reading through this on my phone. I thought the OP had posted a picture of the new tractor as a homesteader 6. Do you have any idea where your old homesteader went? I had been looking for a homesteader 7 but would prefer a homesteader 6 if I could ever get my hands on one. I would like to have one of each model of these macines.

It went to a guy in iowa who has a collection of Homesteaders. Last I heard it has an 8 horse Briggs instead of the 6, and ag tires on the back

You like that unit then? They tough to work on? I'm gonna dig into mineafter Thanksgiving I looked at the Briggs thatz on it and yeah itd need mountains of work and parts so swapping motors is the economic al route for me I just want to get it moving and driving

I loved mine but it was to small for my yard. They are very easy to work on and it can tow quite a bit for it's size. And the blade bolt on the mower deck is left hand thread. I hope you enjoy your B206, they are fun little tractors and do a good job mowing. I miss my Homesteader.
