Picked this up today.  Found it on Craigslist.  They listed in as a Snapper, but I'm not too sure.  Is there anyway to know if it's a Snapper or Massey?

Yes, it runs... which is the only reason I bought it.  It looks to have several custom additions, which I'm not sure about.  Did either Snapper or Massey do metal dashes?

Either way they are among the nicest super garden tractors ever built.

I myself have never seen a Massey with an Eaton, but I hear tell there were some.  I've also never seen a Snapper that did not have an Eaton.

I would say the metal dash is homemade, the plastic ones crumble over time.

Well, I checked out the hydro last night.  It's a Eaton, which I guess means it's a Snapper :D
