I have a 1962 Allis Chalmers 6 HP Sno Bee that I restored about 10 years ago. Strictly a show machine.  Problem is that the drive wheels no longer turn.   I pulled the axle but there is no keyway nor spline.  Just a smooth axle.  I thought perhaps it was some sort of friction drive but got a parts catalog off this site and it shows a gear on the shaft.  I'm going to pull the axle again and inspect it closer but if anyone has knowledge of these units I'd appreciate whatever help you can provide.  Thanks.
