I have a Haban 416-A Sickle mower for sale.
I am asking $1000.00. Is it worth it?

It may be the wrong season to get top dollar for a mower.

If you have some pics of it would really help. I myself would say it might bring that if in very nice shape and complete

Thank you. It is complete and in decent shape. I would really like to get it out of my pole barn before winter hits. I will try to post pic's this week.

OGR, the ONLY way it might be worth $1,000.00 would be if it was NIB.

According to my database, that model is for the JD models 120, 140, 300, and 317.

If it's in really, REALLY good shape it would be worth $600.00 at most.

BTW, I'm just 10 miles up the road from you in Oberlin OH.

huh... I camped out your way this summer, 2 different times.
july 4th weekend, at that State park on Ohio 58, (why can't I think of the name of it at the moment?)

and a month later by Bellvue on US 20...

I know a guy in Ashland and another in the town just north of Wellington,  the state park was like right between them.

Just south of the state park on 58 was a guy on the west side of the road that had some GTs and stuff for sale by the road, one was an old Wheel Horse that had the 1st KV 181 that I have ever seen for myself...

I helped a fellow collector obtain a NOS Haban for an Allis this fall.  He gave $1000 but it was shiny new, and much scarcer than a Deere variety.
