I would like a 1956 wheel horse rj, I know its not fancy or overly rare but that's my birth year and I think that out of all my tractors my kids just might keep that one, I will find one some day and it will be coming home with me, I my even have one but I cant find any numbers on the frame of 2 that I have but I will have to check out the motor numbers

If the Bolens tubeframes were still being built, I'd buy a New Bolens 1000 and a new Bolens 1050 then buy all 30+ attachments that went with them

That is a loaded question. Many different options. I kinda answered that for myself a coupla years back after looking at many options. I bought a new Kubota BX2660 with FEL and mid mount mower. I would do it over again. The old stuff is great and serves the purpose and I love the fact that there are people who are keeping them alive. Now if Kubotas and other such things were unavailable I would be looking for a hydro Cub Cadet (pre MTD) or an Allis Chalmers.

Old ones cost too much????  Have you been pricing NEW stuff?  Not much left in GT's anymore that isn't just a Lawn tractor beefed some and made by MTD.   Would think a Scut or Utility offered by all the new company's would have to be bought to get same strength as old GT's.  I would want Power Steering, Ease of entry and all those features that most have now days with my old man's body now.  I believe the Massey Ferguson line and the New Hollands are pretty nice line. AND, have to say it..........Any bigger John Deere series should last long time.....(spit!) there got that out!

I hate to betray my "green" blood, but a Kubota with all the bells and whistles.

A new tractor or an old one? Makes a difference for my vote.
