Spent some time over the weekend and the paint was still wet when I took the picture, but check out the difference.

Looking good Casey. Now you can worry about it getting scratched every time it gets used.

Already had to touch up where the bug landed... I'm trying to remember it is a no where near perfect work tractor. The hood has at least 4 cracked locations, but I will not waste my time on it, I would replace with metal hood. This tractor is supposed to have at least a 6 foot viewing radius lol.

Simple solution for bugs on wet paint

Do nothing once the bug is stuck in the paint he won't move

when everything is dry flick the bug off with your finger

a little light very light sanding where is feet are in the paint and nobody will know

I did that about 6 hours after painting... I was too early and he was stuck better than I had thought... Area was sanded and touched up. Not 100% perfect, but good from a few feet away. I forgot my overall goal is Not perfection, but improvement.

Rear fender is fiberglass also. I will repaint it sometime in the winter in a heated painting room.
