Umm Yea..That would be a nightmare if I uninstalled that..i work with radar images and they depend on Flash..along with many Video services such as youtube and netfix..exc..I think the best option would be it install something like FlashBlock that allows you to decide if its used or not..

With HTML 5 and pepperflash, Adobe flash is a dieing project.  The developers of Firefox and palemoon made flash disabled by default on their latest browsers to bring attention to the problem of Adobe not fixing the security issues with flash.  Adobe has quite supporting flash in Linux from what I understand that is the reason Pepperflash was born.

I have been wondering if Adobe actually does anything besides annoy me. When ever I shut down my computer and start it up, I get a pop up from Adobe wanting me to do an update, which includes a bunch of stuff I don't want.

In most cases you can opt out of the other stuff..Just uncheck the boxes.
