Typical "sale" gimic. I have noticed in the grocery store that buying two 250 ml. salad dressings at $1.75 each are cheaper than one 500ml. bottle at the advertised sale price of $4.00. You have to read every label and THINK. Never just jump because it's advertised as a sale.

Depends on how big the rolls are. If they are 30lb er's its a smoking deal.

I bought 2 10lb rolls of .030 from USAWELD for $35 a few weeks ago. Free shipping. I buy most of my mig supplies tips etc from http://stores.ebay.com/welders4less/

Locally a 2lb roll is $14.00

I guess it's 5 bucks extra for the gas you'll save from buying them one at a time :hitting_self_roller:

I just got a good working Shopsmith last Friday for $10,  It came with the saw table, jointer and jig saw and no saw blades or guard.

It was on Craigslist for $50.  I called the guy and asked if he would just sell the jointer. He asked what I would pay. I said $25.

Then he said if I take the unit for $10, that he wanted it gone.  I could not drive fast enough to get there.

Here some pics.

Got it home a cleaned and oiled it and checked it all over, works great.

now I need to sell the jig saw, don't need two if them.

Many moons ago I worked as a cashier at Kmart. We had a "special" on candy bars (x bars for $5 or something like that). Every time someone bought it we all laughed. It was something like 10 cents more per bar on special.

A local country store where I grew up in NC had a special on apples, 2 for a nickel , or three for a dime.
