I just wanted to post two Wagner "little giant" model 450 tractors that will be sold at auction on Nov.20, 2015. The auction will be held at Firemans Field in Quarryville, PA by Leaman Auction Service. Phone in bids are available day of auction if unable to attend. One good running from 1950's with plow and mower deck. One very rusty, and alot of spare parts including original literature and a complete frame. I will try to upload some pics. 150801-152748.jpg 150801-153048.jpg 150801-153335.jpg 150801-153448.jpg

They would be from the 1960s, not the 50s.

Sorry if the years are not correct. I have been told by an older fellow who worked on them that the best one is from the 1950's because it has a Wagner transmission. The other one has a peirless transmission from the 1960's. Not positive on this info.,could be from early 1960's. My father bought the oldest one used in 1962. Do not know how old it was when he purchased it.

I've been given to understand that Wagner was contacted by International Harvester and the Little Giant was going to be the Cub Cadet, but IH was unsatisfied with the tractor that they built.

Assuming that is correct, you can see why it's the colors that it is.

The history on these can be pretty interesting!
