Seems pretty heavy duty, not what I think of when I think of Yard Man.

Those are the 995/998 series? Basically the same as the older MTD 990 with closed side hoods and different fenders and Engine combinations.

 

They are a true Garden tractor with an Eton 11 pump and 2 speed Peerless 2500 series transaxle.

 

Same thing as the White Yard Boss GT-1855

It looks like it is in good shape.  I think that's the first one I've seen wearing yard man markings.  I've only seen them as Whites around here.  A very capable tractor.

Very nice tractor. Not many of those around. The follow up to the 990, as others have said.
