Since acquiring a Colt Super 10 (1965), I have been watching for a reasonable Case 130, to accompany it ( also 1965, same tractor as the Colt).  I believe I have found a winner, but during this search, I have also considered the scarcity of attachments, and so I have a couple questions:

-In good running/driving condition, what is a reasonable offer for this 130?

-Did Case offer a sleeve hitch for the 130 and/or Colt Super 10?  If so, what the heck does one look like, and how does it hookup?

Thank you!

I own a case 155 I gave 350.00 with deck and k301 instead of k241. What I really want is a 180 and have a pretty rare tractor that I would trade for a good one .

Well...ran up there and pulled the trigger. I had originally been looking for a sleeve hitch only that would work on the back of my colt super 10. I found one with a tag saying "case 130" (the equivalent tractor to my colt) at a local show in September. I was never able to catch the seller and wrote it off as a lost cause.

In the meantime I had run across a nice 130 for what I assumed was too high of a price. That tractor turned up again as I was searching for Sleeve Hitch information, but with the end of season price I was hoping for. Turns out it was the seller of the sleeve its I had originally considered!

Fast forward to today...he made me a package deal on the sleeve hitch, lift a rod and the 130, AND threw a mower deck as a surprise. Tractor runs and drives great and is all original with the exception of one tire, the paint on the seat, and it is missing its original muffler.

I am thrilled with it, as it will compliment my colt very nicely. I'm also over the moon with the price because it was quite a bit cheaper than all of the 130s I had seen losted, even in non running condition on eBay and Craigslist. The seller was extremely knowledgeable and had a broad collection of case tractors so I have a feeling he knew what he was doing when he sold it to me.

I enjoyed the visit as he also had about 30 pedal tractors and some off brand tractors such as wheel horse, bolens, David Bradley, etc. He is a former round fender deere collector some may know, having had as many as 16 patio tractors at once, as recently has two years ago. He gave up JD completely when he bought his first case and now has at least a couple dozen.

A little soapy water will make this baby a dream tractor for me.
