B.T. (before tractors...), Adam and I shared an interest in cars - specifically Taurus SHOs. It's actually how we originally met. We were both on a national car forum for the SHOs and he asked me to meet up for coffee one night (aww).

Anyways, the car has seen quite a few track days (mainly road course, but I did take it to the drag strip last year). Got a good deal on a supercharger kit, so that was the project for last Summer and recently this Spring.

Before (3.0L Yamaha with some bolt-on modifications and engine work):

Test fit.

Making sure the hood still closed (yeah, that's carbon fiber - added a lot of hp! Check out those hot pink 5-points too!).

I had a few helpers to supervise.

Adam put in a stronger fuel pump for me. Here he is cutting the access panel and paying 100% attention to what he was doing.

As it sits now. Started it up with the factory tune and it ran, but will get it professionally tuned soon. New intake piping and filter came in, so that has to get put on yet as well. But I am looking forward to driving it soon!

I have a track event at the Autobahn in May. Should be a bit more fun with a few extra horses. Dyno'd it last summer and it made 225 fwhp. Ideally I would like 300-325, so this thing will be tuned down a bit. Pulley that's on it should be good for 10 pounds of boost though.

Hopefully this new addition will give Adam inspiration to work on his project SHO (the white one) sitting in the garage.

Yeah, that was winter mode with all three cars in there. Since Adam has grown quite a collection of tractors, he took over the basement for his "tractor shop" which resulted in me losing my nice heated storage spot.

We put up a nice garage door and new basement window. The exposed basement has been great for Adam's tractor hobby. It's pretty nice to be able to walk down some stairs and always find him. (:
