A mini crawler tractor cultivator!  Now that is a real different type of machine.  Never would have thought !

Anything with tracks should be in my barn, at least that's what I believe, my wife not so much. Cool machine but to far away.

I talked to the seller yesterday. I'm calling today to set up a time to take a look at it. Hopefully it's not already sold. I'll keep you posted. I also wonder what Alc does. Is it the right engine? It looks right compared to other ones I see. What should be on there?

They made those for a lot of years so there are various engines used. They were mostly gear reduction Briggs. I'd say the engine on it could be right. It would be hard to tell. I think the newest I've seen was a 1998. The company may even still be in business. I haven't checked or heard from them lately though.

Well that makes sense.  Thanks, Doug.  I've seen a number of them around.  It's not really my thing, but I am mildly interested in it, and the price seems right, so, well, we'll see.

That looks like a very interesting machine that would serve no purpose for me at all,  at a price I would have a hard time saying no to. Please tell me you bought it, so the temptation is no longer there.

A friend of mine picked it up for me tonight. He lived just around the corner from the seller. Anyway, he said it looks complete and the engine spins freely. I'm supposed to pick it up from my friend's place one evening, probably this week. I'll post pictures when I get it. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

I finally got this home and took more pictures. It looks to be all original and shouldn't take much to get it going. According to the engine serial number, it would appear to be a 1960, I think. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with it quite yet, whether I'll keep it for awhile or find another home for it. It's neat, but not really what I collect. Regardless, it was definitely worth picking up.
