I was working on my recent purchase Clinton engine and Googled those. Came up with this site. Seems to be some decent info in there.

Anyway, I bought a Clinton at the tractor show just for the carb. The engine is not turning over so I got it cheap. I needed the carb for my Merry Tiller. I got it off and torn down. not in bad shape considering. I have it soaking in Apple Cider Vinegar to see what that does to it. All interior passages seem to be clean, so I may be able to finally run the engine for more than a few seconds.

Thanks KennyP.  I got a Clinton with a RAM purchase.  Turns over , has compression and but that is as far as I have gone with it.  That site could be a great help.

Glad a few folks can find a use for the link! I liked the Clinton's, they just didn't hang around long enough to build good big blocks!

Kenny is there a section in GTT that has or could have a link for sites like these ?  Like the manual  section ?  It looks like there is a link page but just ones for personal or tractor clubs

I thought about putting it there, Al. But afraid it would be 'lost' before long. I guess I could pin this thread so we can find the link again. Not a lot of info out there on these engines.
