I just have my grandfather's old walking sticks that he found on a trail. I like one for when my knees act up I have a store bought wood one my grandma gave me but I'm not that fond of it an it seams a bit short for me.

Sorry, no pics. Will have to wait until Less is More comes back for a visit and gets my pics transferred.( I am woefully inept at that technology.) Mine are not beautiful like yours are; merely rough and tough and kinda redneck. My Olde Deere liked them that way, said he wouldn't know how to use one that he was afraid to scratch up. His have chain saw nicks, axe bruises and cow blood on them!


Function and utility comes first. The fancy is a way to show the craftsmanship skill.there is plenty of room for both.

Which gives it 'character'. I bet his hand fit it like a glove. A favorite stick just feels right!
