I been wanting one for the last couple of year today I bought one on EBay. I bought a Mamod Steam Engine. Any collectors on here ?

I saw a Mamoud at a flea market for $50. It killed me that I didn't have the means.

I paid $65 I really want one of the mamod tractors.

I found one at a Flea market in Nashville TN   I paid $75.00 for it.  A few years ago I started getting rid of my stuff and gave it to Tractor Chick.

Was the "fuel" for these mini steam engines always called Esbit?

I remember a friend having one of these engines some 50 years ago and I thought the fuel was called something else.

Most of them use those and some was setup to use rubbing alcohol

As I recall the one that was my fathers when he was a kid and I have now used rubbing alcohol for fuel.
