That wouldn't last long around my area either, especially if it runs.

I dont think The tiller and the snow plow aren't for a 14.
They would be for the 10/12 units.
The tiller looks to be missing a lot of parts. Main gear box might be in the pile (can't tell what it is) but I don't see the drive shaft.

I don't know about the tiller but the blade looks like a 14/16 blade to me, different rear hangers and it has the 2 mid lift arms. No center lift like on the 10/12 tractors.

Was looking for something Local for a project.I click on a local town in Craigslist and it brings up everything from Maryland,West Virginia,Southern New York and 2/3 of Pa.

Why doesn't CL have a Within so many Miles option?

Eric,

You may be interested in checking out searchtempest.com. It will do searches on Craigslist for you and let you set different parameters you want to use.

I thought the 14/16 blade had a rectangular tube? Thanks for pointing out my incorrect statement.
the tiller for the 14 has a big pulley on it. Heavier looking unit as well.

A buddy of mine from work ended up buying this. After seeing mine and hearing me talk about them all the time he finally got one for himself. I have yet to see it in person but he said it's pretty decent. Just needs some TLC. The tiller isn't for the 14 and is missing parts but it's still good to have ( I have two 12's it'd be nice on!) He got it for $400, not to bad in my opinion. The tires and chains are worth half that! Just thought I'd let everyone know it went to a good home. He plans on giving it a resto and putting it to work.

Hello all! I am new to GTtalk and the new owner of the MF 14 mentioned above. As my friend already said I have been hearing and learning about Massey Ferguson for a while now. I liked how they looked the first time I saw a picture of a couple of his. Then I got to see one in person and watch it in action. I knew I had to have one! We both had our feelers out and when this one came up, it felt right. It was close to home and the guy was willing to hold it for me till the weekend. We went over some things and I made him an offer of $400. I was prepared to pay the $500 and thought maybe he would meet me at $450. But he saw that I was into it, I shared some pics of my friends tractors and was able to pass on some information about what he was selling thanks again to my friend that printed some things out for me.He was happy with $400 and the deal was done. He said he used the plow (dozer blade) every winter so I'm assuming the it is right for the tractor. He said he never used the tiller and we found as mentioned above that it is for a 10 or 12. I plan on restoring everything and taking care of it. And yea, the tiller may have to go to DMAX for all the help he is giving me! Don't worry though if he dosn't want it I'll post it here 1st! I will try and get some pics up, and add more as I go. It's missing the nose piece and someone welded the headlight bracket to the hood. Also it seems to be lacking some power,  so those are the 1st two items to look into on my list. Thanks for reading and sorry for being long winded, I'm just excited lol.

Great news that it found a good home with an enthusiastic owner.

Lacking power as in___?
Might be as simple as timing or a gunned up carb, or it may be due for a refresh.

Either way, thanks for joining and :welcometogttalk:
