Is there any adjustment for the mowing height on a g1800? I know about adjusting the wheel height, but is there a height setting on the tractor? The hydraulics keep drifting down causing loading on the deck wheel

I have the G1800S and it is as you say, wholly dependant on the wheel height.

My hydraulics only drift if the engine is off and then some days after.

Even my G3200 with manual deck height is better off with tuning the outboard runner wheels. The height lever still lets the deck tip and yaw. If the wheels are wrong the cut is off.

I always though most decks were supposed to carry on the deck wheels.  Never used a Kubota -YET but on other is set the deck wheels to the cutting height I want and then use the tractor mount lift to carry it over dips, etc.  Every one is a little different but on my JD F525 the 48" deck rides on the two front wheels and the rear center roller.  No lifting from the tractor.  Deck is down all the time.
