Wait a minute! Do not mention Deere when compairing old iron fuel economy to new ! That is simply unjust!! Deere has had difficulty meeting emmision standards so leave them out. The older Deere's were incredible on fuel compared to their new stuff... Apples to apples here... Tw 25 to say Ts 125 this is fair, both 6 cylinder diesels in the 110 hp range.. The newer Tractor pulls better, on far less fuel and is much quieter, warmer, and easier to operate. Same load on both , spreading the same compost ( heavy gray goopy stuff) and the TS burned 15 gallons a day less fuel and did it faster.
What ever happened to reducing your carbon footprint?
Yeah.... Constant smoke rolling out the stack, smelling of unburned diesel... Yup thats helping the cause...
Oh and then the buy American... If the lazy bumb doesnt want to work TOUGH! Starve and be cold, i work my duff off to take care of him?? Yeah .. $30 an hour putting in 3 screws with a light weight ergo- driver on a balanced giuded arm...ROTFLMAO..
