1983 Ford LGT165 Garden Tractor. It has a 50 inch mower deck with new main belt and one rebuilt blade spindle, the secondary belt only has two seasons on it, mows very well. It also comes with a Jacobsen orange 48 inch dozer / snow blade (not pictured). The tractor is a pedal controlled hydrostat with high and low ranges. The engine is a Kohler K341 AQS. The engine was overhauled 2 years ago, probably has less than 50 hours on it since. The engine was bored .020 over and new valves, piston, rings, connecting rod, head milled, and all gaskets and seals were replaced. It also had the fuel pump replaced at that time. It runs and pulls very well. It has a new car size battery that was installed this summer.
The transmission has the spin on oil filter, so changing the hydro filter is much cheaper than some Fords. Currently the headlights and brake do not work. I have had a lot of steering and front axle parts custom machined. I had new front axle pivot bushings made along with a new hardened pivot pin. The left front wheel spindle, which is common to break, has a custom made replacement. It could use a new seat.
This is a good working, older garden tractor. I am only selling it because my wife does not care to run it due to its physical size, it is a solid tractor. I have a few spare parts such as a complete hydrotrans unit that could go with it. I have not had time to put a polish on it, so it is in its work clothes. $650
May entertain a partial trade for an early 70's Gilson built Montgomery Ward 16 Hydrostatic, preferably a full fender/full foot board model .
