I have a 92 model Lawnboy YT 14 H with a bad deck and no luck finding one. I was thinking of adding a homemade cat 0 three point to it to make it a somewhat useful tractor. I know it probably is not tough enough to do any serious work but would be nice to have a use for it other than just pulling a trailer. It has an Eaton 850 trans axle. I was wondering if it was possible to tap into this rear end to power a lift and if you can, does anybody have any drawings or can you walk me through the process.

Can't help you on the Eaton trans axle, as I'm not familiar with them.
In the manuals section-Tractors and Implements-Massey Ferguson-Implements
I posted a pdf of Cat 0 specs.

If it doesn't have hydraulic deck lift, then the pump won't be ported & you can't power hydraulics off it.

Did your tractor have a manual lift for the deck ? Maybe you could adapt a rod or bar to raise and lower the 3pt .

Ok yeah it had a manual deck. I didn't know but I was hoping that I could just tie into the lines that run to the filter. But I guess they probably are not pressurized high enough to do any lifting. Ah well I was just throwing it out there. I guess since I am not going to use the deck I could always just run a power steering pump off the electric clutch and run the 3 point off of that. Hmmmm...
