I picked up a 1977 C-120 Automatic yesterday.
The PO said the engine seized while mowing on a steep bank. I have not tried to turn the engine.
For what I paid, I couldn't let this deal pass.
The PO robbed some parts from the C-120 to put on another Wheel Horse, but this could have some possibilities!

Oh...and a deck came with it, but 1 spindle shaft is broke.

Can't beat an OLD Horse in the stable!!  Easiest stuff to work on ever that I've had.  Would think with rebuild K engine should be good.  They are a little diff pans on Horse, so save at least that if you change out. Guess you know all this stuff, waste of bandwidth from Me, ha!

Deck looks to be in decent shape. Glad you got a good deal (let's hope the seizing is something simple)

Good deal. I would have cobbled that one up myself too.

Probably open the engine up take out the pieces clean up the rod journal with some muratic acid toss in a few new parts and run it for years.  Them old Kohler K's are tough.

Nice Stallion! Don't know what you paid but, Thank You. Saved another Horse!

The Ms's will be thrilled when she sees the Horse grazing on grass!

Nice Horse Mr. Arsenault. Love those older Kohlers.
