I was going to post this in off-topic, but it is GT related. I took the day off today from work just to relax. I was digging around a few part boxes I haven't been to in a while. I found a 13.8VDC 1.5 amp wall wart power supply and started thinking. I then found a Corsair Hair Clipper plastic storage case, and a couple panel meters. Didn't take long to construct a 1.5A trickle charger for the GT's batteries.

Nice project.

Where are you able to purchase analog meters now that Radio shack is closed? I still prefer them in cold climates.

This was all stuff I had collected over the years working as a Radio Technician. Stuff was in some boxed that I pulled out of storage today.

Radio Shack is closed? All of them?  Not just a name change?  Durn! Hadn't noticed really, yet have shopped there over the years. Guess cheaper to buy Chinese junk than make anything now days and with puter chips doing everything and such, got simple and tiny.  I live in a Cave, only come out once in awhile you know!
