I'm sorry to hear it. Leaves a hole that isn't easily filled.
I'm not sure how I'm going to make it thru the next time it happens, this one has really gotten under my skin

Sorry to hear this.  Same kind of thing happened with us years ago.  Our pony "Sugar" passed of old age, then our old horse "Reba" just gave up on life.  She passed within weeks of Sugar.

I feel for you from personal experience.  Our great dog Jake got hit by a wild drive in a pickup a while back.  Granddaughter (4 yo) and him were real close buddies.  Really hurts when one goes like that.  We now have a new pup, about 14 weeks old.  1/2 Pyrenees, 1/4 Anatolian Shepard, and 1/4 Akbash.  He is going to be one big dog to say the least.  Real smart and strong already.  Hope you find a good pup to take your minds off the loss.

Sorry for your loss Brandon. Get another pup when you're ready. It can't possibly replace the ones you lost but will make it's own place in your heart all the same. Puppy breath is a wonderful healing agent.
