MASSEY FERGUSON 4850 TILLER QUESTION

Did Cub Cadet have an identical tiller as the 4850 made for their garden tractors called the model 48?  Also who made the 4850 tiller for Massey anyway I cant find a stamp all it says is made in the USA

This is a picture of the model 48 made for the Cub Cadets is why I ask. It sure looks a lot like my 4850 tillers He is asking $675

Not sure who made them for massey,but that one in the picture is probably just a repaint and decals to look like a cub tiller. That's my guess.

You're right....very similar to the 4850 but not identical.  It actually looks very nice...the side driven design but with a little lighter weight shell body around it.  If it's a working unit, the price looks great!
