...mow the last time! I'm about there, undecided whether to mow once more or not.

I'll for sure mow at least one more time, and likely twice.  Usually my last mowing is in November.

Kind of nice to hit it one more time after the leaves have fallen. Chopping them up with the mower sure beats using a rake.  :smilewink:

No mowing here at my place but it still looks pretty green around here. It's been warm until the last couple of days. It was in the 40s with a strong North wind here yesterday and it's 35 right now.

I cut this week. Maybe one more time yet. Was splitting wood in the north wind yesterday, with the cold temperature. Noel

It is so dry here, I am only mowing where the septic lateral lines run. Mother nature has been crazy this year. We had record rainfall in the spring and then record time with no rain. Go figure.

Mowed yesterday for the last time this year.  Mowers will be cleaned up, greased and put away.  To many other things to get done to worry about grass growing.

Grass needs cutting here right now, but I have a ton of other things that need doing. When I do get around to the grass it will likely be the last time this year.

I'll cut again this week, just the "yard" though - field is done for the winter.. And depending on weather the next few weeks, we cut one, maybe two more times before it goes dormant. Even then, we have wild onion (that's what they look like and smell like when you cut them...) in a bunch of spots, and they seem to grow right up till we get snow.

Now down in our Florida place, another matter - even through winter, we still have to even out the weeds/grass every 6 weeks or so.....

SmallBerco1.jpg Still got plenty of leaves that need to come down and be mulched up for the compost bins. Might as well mow while I'm doing it.
Anxious to try out the new ride with the Berco snow blower and FINALLY a cab. No more ice cream headaches while clearing the driveway :). Of course I'll be sick of that by the end of January.

I just mowed on Saturday cause grass was growing again. I know I will need to hit it one last time for leaf cleanup. I just windrow them over to fence and leave them piled on fence row. It works wonders keeping fence, up next to the woods, weed free the next year.

It will be in the 30s tonight in RI and a little cooler tomorrow night, however, the forecast is for 65 the middle of next week, therefore, I expect to have to mow at least two to three more times. I have mowed as late as Thanksgiving!
