I thought I would introduce my 'new' tractor to you folks here. Not sure how many saw the build thread I had going. I started with a 1978 AC 716 6-speed. It was about to be sent out for scrap iron. I liked the looks it has and thought i could make it a better tractor from it. It had been a 'pulling' tractor at some point and the frame had been cut to accept a Kohler Magnum 18 engine. I happened to have one of those looking for a home.

Here's a few before pics.

I stripped the 6-speed out of it and started installing an Eaton11/Peerless2500 hydrostatic rear end from a Ford LGT145. i also used the foot pedals for Fwd/Rev. This also gave me hydraulic lift for the Cat 0 3-point. It took a little over 2 months to complete the rebuild. I hope to get a decal set for it soon.
Here's a video of it from yesterday.

Very nice Kenny but you are misspelling her name, it should be ALLIS. That is what I call my 1955 AC HD6G shovelldozer. Though after a few hours of working her, I just call her The B*tch because she was made for smaller guys and my legs end up all bruised. Good Luck, Rick

Rick, she will stay 'Alice' since she is not a true AC.

It is a little hard starting. Won't be a deck as all that lift linkage is gone. Mostly 3-point equipment, may add something to the front end later on.

That's the best part, Larry. It works! After the show next weekend, I'll see if I can find some work for it!

Nice looker and dare to be different is good too. My opin.......Lights have to GO!  Put some above grill in front panel like they should be, ha! OR, those Allis ones that are double and tapered on side of grill look better than those Bug Eyes will.
