   probably using a standard gps because he didn't want to use the rite one that was more expensive !!!!  I saw on the news the other day that there is a consumer group suing the gps makers to make them all the same, so the truck drivers don't have to spend the extra $$ on the rite one.  that will help, if they win then all gps units will cost $1200.

My boss told me I had to haul a wide load, he didn't say NUTTIN about it being a tall load as well.  I get paid extra for that you know.

It is not the GPS units.  It is the users responsibility to keep them up dated at least twice a year.  When that is not done blame it on the GPS company?

Darnedest thing, Officer. I was driving under this bridge, transporting my wide load sign, and someone threw that giant spool off the bridge and hit my truck. Yup, that's what happened alright.
