My garden will come on soon. My wife responded, Dear this is your garden. My chest swelled up and I said you dam right it is..... Then she kicked my shin under the table. But anyhow, I had fresh lettuce, tomatoe and pepper from the garden.. Im a proud man

Not sure if they will germinate from drying in the freezer, but even if they do, they might be a wild variant of what they came out of. Seeds used from a hybrid will not pass down all the hybrid traits. You might end up with great peppers, but might not, depending on what traits make it through.

Matt, You need to post a picture of you and your wife. That way everyone can see how small she is next to you. Don't be embarrassed, I'm afraid of mine too, she's only 5'1", but wow, she scares me....

Like oldcowhand said, they may revert to the parent plants genes. That may not be a bad thing.
It seems Heirloom Tomatoes are all the rage, which is getting away from the hybirds and back to the parent plants.

I decided not to put in a garden this year. Kinda sad about it, but with the addition of 4700 sqaure feet of new lawn I put in. which reuired numerous hours of work filling in and ripping out several oaks and juniper bushes, a garden was not feasible .

But reading all success here is making me plan for a elegant garden next with patio paver walk ways and a bench to relax on............

Keep up the good work and post pics.

You can grow a great garden in a rusty tub! lol Just took my neighbor 4 payloader buckets of completely composted manure dirt for 2 small raised gardens he just built. I would like to have some raised gardens for strawberries if I ever get around to it.
