Portland, IN fall swap is Oct 8,9,10 this year a little earlier. Weather looks good Thursday, some rain forecast for Friday, but maybe later in day and temps pretty good. Sat looks good too, but many are gone that day, maybe not if Friday is not as good. They might stay for that nice Sat then.

I'm going with buddy, have nothing or little to sell anymore. How about a Jeep soft top set??? Will be just the ONE trailer this time, where we usually have two. Will be looking for Vanguard exhaust, but not getting hopes up much.

Found an exhaust, not exactly the one I wanted, but for $20 was gonna see what fit at least. Well, got home and lines up to ports pretty good, cept the triangular pto I have has one corner too high and hits bottom of it and now will have to move my stabilizer strap for the pto to be able to turn it some and have corner away from muffler and can odd lower sheild on it too then. BUT, now see I am hitting the belt gear end some, so not sure i I can bend a bit, or if gonna be some whacking of it to clear. Not so neat there. This exhaust was off a late model Cub Cadet 2000 tractor and that faced out front of it and has a big sheild over it like they do on that type of muffler under hood. I got the sheild too, and it will fit under hood, but stick out quite a ways and might be ugly. But, heck, is still better than NONE which I have now, or did. Have to look it over and work on it later. Here's a few pix of first day. Not many taken, pretty much Green waste metal and Yellow/White this year, heh! Saw some of same guys here as was at the Last Week Horse show in the swap section selling same items. Found a neat Jacobsen hydro that had hood off, was burnt, but still there. Only $150, think would be OK buy, was running. Found a H 16 Bolens that was $350, said to run, no battery to start it tho. Tec engine, and also another 1257? think it was that WAS running on trailer that looked pretty good.

Friday, 2nd day at swap. Cool and Windy, many packing by noon, kinda getting thin. Was pretty good traffic in AM. Sold a pair of tires is all and bought MF gas tank and belt guard for mine in garage attic to build later. also bought a nice PK A-arm draw bar, nice and clean shape yet. Saw a few PK 3pts and several MTD 990 three points for sale. A neat little camper, similar to older ones, yet brand new, tear-drop style. A neat model T like cart, looked like clown car for ONLY $1000, cheap......choke!...excuse me! That was nice Duetz-Allis, no engine. He had engine there, blown up rod, but it sold. Asking $400 for tractor, said take $300. I would love that rig, put any engine that can run off the flywheel side in it and be good. Had drive shaft and engine cushions and plate yet. The cooler coil just behind it was gone, saw one on another tractor to know what was supposed to be in space there. Was the Ultra...makes it the best then right, heh! Rear tires seemed small diameter, but were 23 x 10.50 x 12, but just looked small on it. He said had diesel he was thinking of putting in it. Hmmm, whatever!

Big Diesel shown in early post was sold today and many other things gone from yesterday. We will not be going back tommorrow, even tho weather should be nicer, we are done. Not as crowded this year, spring meet will be much better I'm sure.

Just a note on that T car.  Was looking on Facebook and found a Shriner's parade picture and the SAME cars were being used! SO, guess that is Shriners car. Might be well built then? Still pricey to me, tho.

McDonough Power Equipment in Georgia (the same people who made Snapper mowers) made a lot of those small model T's powered by a 3hp B&S.

They were named Tin Lizzy or Tin Lizzie.

I've been wanting to find one at a decent price for many years.
