8 cords came today. Have been waiting for almost two months. Any way, time start playing catch up. Got the ferguson and saw bench in place. Sawed about a 1/2 a cord. Split some with axe. Still working on hydrualic splitter. Hope have it done tomorrow nite. Added a extension to the saw bench. It folds down for storage. And had some people over for supper. 3 moose roasts, yummie. Sorry about the sideways pictures, had camera turn the wrong way. Noel

8 cords of firewood? Looks like you got a bunch of trees and work delivered.

Although I will say there is no more rewarding work in my book than splitting firewood. When i burnt a lot of wood it was such a good feeling watching my family be warm because of my work.

Hey! We let you Canadienites be on here as long as you play nice. When you start waving pictures of exotic wild food, all the fun goes out of it for us Sutherners!

Your saw looks like fun, enjoy the chopping! I love to hand split my wood but the wife invited the neighbor over with his huge splitter tomorrow. I think we have 5 or 6 cords to do and she says my shoulders won't hold up through it all. I just finished fixing his bolens 900 so I guess he owe me.
