A wicked witch rides the wind tonight of a very powerful no'r easter along the coast of NJ . All the beach replenishment here after hurricane Sandy may well be in vain after this. Mother nature is all powerful, tomorrow we will see what wrath she has dealt us.

Batten down the hatches and keep the bow into the wind.

Hope it isn't too bad and the morning brings you a pleasant surprise.

Seems the storm is moving away from the US but the east coast is going to get a LOT of rain!   :(

I think we are more lucky that hurricane is going right instead of left.

6 am news here showing a lot of flooding in the streets and lots of hard rain.  We have family in Maryland and haven't heard from them in a couple days.  Expecting wind and rain there. If we are lucky if will wash a lot of CRAP out of Washington, huh?

I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, we've been dealing with this nor'easter for many days, and northeast fetch for all but 2 days of the last 12.  I'm just glad the hurricane gave us a break.

It has been a week of dreary weather here. Started raining Thursday and cleared out this morning. The farmers with standing corn will lose some now. This morning I saw several fields with broken stalks and laid over corn.

And yet, no sign of Jimmy Hoffa.

Oh.... he's in Giants stadium near the end zone. How fitting, although a great Union leader and member. HankG LU32 NEWARK NJ.
