I am just starting a Bolens 1250 re-do project.  I know that right off the bat I am going to need a Wisconsin S12D  ignition cover plate for the points and condenser/ ignition compartment on the left side of the engine block.  I also know that I need a gas tank.  I believe that any large frame gas tank will fit.  I would prefer plastic but I will take what I can get.  I have been looking for these items for a while but I have had no luck. I am brand new to this site so I am hoping you guys can help me out.  Thanks a bunch,  Ron

Welcome to GTT. Post some pics of your project when you can. Check with our sponsors for parts. Several of them specialize in Bolens. Check our Manuals Section for what manuals you need. Good Luck, Rick

Thanks a lot guys for the responses.  " Bolens 1000",  I would like to go ahead and order the new breaker cover, ( #207).  Should I send you a pm or what do I do next.  You might as well order the gasket (#196) for the cover also. Please advise me as to what I need to do on this end.  Thanks Ron.
