Rare Gravely riding mower with Kwick-way loader attachment. Tractor needs some work but the loader is worth the asking price. Also have a walk behind Gravely with a sulky, duels , and a rotary mower attachment for$350. In Kimball mn 1-320-223-one nine one four

I'm not saying there's anything wrong here but the tractors not an 816. It's a 400 series rider, if I had to guess I'd say 430 or 432 depending on what size the kohler is. If it has a 12 horse then it's a 430, if a 14 horse then 432.

The 816 only came with an Onan twin cylinder and it's red and white. Gravely did make a 450 with the twin Onan but your's a single cylinder engine.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what you're selling or the asking price other than what you said in post #1, it will power the loader just fine and it's a stout tractor. I have no idea why the hood has an 816 decal on it unless it came off an 816 but the battery lid and gas tank filler hole are in the right spots for a 400 series. The 800's are opposite of what you have and the battery door is some what smaller.

You have the slightly newer loader because the older ones had self leveling arms built into them for the bucket, I have the older one for my 816. Go to the gravely section and look for my thread on my 816 and you'll see the differences.

The transmission on your's is comprised of wet clutches and planetary gear sets, as long as those are fine it's a great machine. If not then they can be expensive to replace. More often than not the clutches just need to be adjusted and if bad the planetarys can be rebuilt. Also good used parts can still be found on ebay if needed.

To anyone interested in looking at this tractor it is worth looking at. Don't let what I said here make you leery. I can provide a link to a site where there are lots of manuals for gravelys free for the down loading. I don't know if they are on this site or not.

Good luck with your sale, someones going to get a good machine.
