Trying to identify and get more info on a D-B 4 wheel garden tractor that belongs to my son-in-law.  The name plate says it is a

917-5154 with serial number 960.  Will post photos later.

I was over at my son-in-law's yesterday and showed him some of the info I've found on the net about this tractor and mentioned I might like to get the tractor to tinker with and see if I can get it running if the price was right.  Before I left he told me to bring a trailer with me the next time that I could have it fro free, so I guess I've got another project to add to my already long list.

Pretty sure it's had a transplant, but the frame is good and another project is always a good thing, right?
Doug T and Lauber can tell you more about it, I think.
