What are you guys using for your equivalent GT? My manual isn't clear on this... It has a big battery tray so I know the small L&G battery isn't correct. Looks like it should be a small car battery. Let me know what you all are using

I put in the biggest that would fit. I forget the CCA on it. It made a difference in the winter.

I agree and check the CCA of each.  Just because the battery is big physically don't mean it has the most power when it is -10°.

Correct. But Deere for example a 316 called for a small car style battery. Was like a 26R. Is that the way I should go on this? Just want to make sure I have enough amps

There was a WalMart large battery in mine that was a couple years old. 900 cca. Started every time in winter.

My New Holland had a 26R in it when I bought it, replaced it with same size.

I run a truck battery in my s-16 but I run a 3500lb electric winch with it. It fits. Very snug but it fits ;) 37790955a8d01aad5958dc6176c53f8e.jpg
