Does anyone know what size belts are used on a 1966 john deere 110 round fender tractor. Bought one in pieces and it didn't have any belts on it.

Got a serial number?

if you go to www.jdparts.com, on left side of screen select "John Deere parts catalog"

When the new page opens up enter "110" in the box and select the "exact model search" option then select find

You will need 110/110H  (-100,000)

That should get you what you need.

Probably will need 3 belts for the tractor:
- starter/gen
- primary drive

- 2nd drive

Three belts for the mule/38 deck

- pto belt for mule drive

- mule to deck

- belt to drive blades

M40637 is the belt that runs from the crank down to the drive.  The foot PTO assembly pulls it tight to engage the deck.  You can see it in this pic:

I would suggest getting Genuine Deere belts, most of them are OEM spec size and material and many are raw edge belts it seems from my interchange

The napa cross for these is just giving you the closest fractional HP fan belt part number and are not rated for L&G applications

if you dont have any luck locally I can give you pricing on some OEM spec belts, the aftermarket company I use for Deere belts is actually Owned by Deere so they are basically the same thing just a cheaper price.
