That's a different way to have 'safety glass'. Hope it works for you.

I googled your laminated glass process, and came out of it with a cheap fabric waterproofing method also! Thanks!

(waterproofing: 50/50 mix)

Got more plywood cut today, I am basically done with the fenders, I haven't bolted the plywood down yet, I want to get it all painted before I do anything else.

When you paint the plywood, use linseed oil as a thinner (50/50) for the first coat (oil based paint). It will help the wood last longer. I did that on an old trailer I built and it did well for a number of years!

I didn't know that, I'll give it a try, Thanks

Our safety glass test pieces didn't work out, the longer they sat the more fogged up the glass got. We broke both test pieces and the silicone was still wet, these have been sitting since Saturday and they should have been dry. They both took several mighty wacks with a hammer for them to break, the first hit cracked the glass, the 2 more hits shattered the glass.

Looks like we will half to use a 2 part silicone, or a epoxy of some sort so it will dry.

Anyway, today I got the lower half of the cab taken off and I got the brakes fixed (remember, I twisted off both brake linkages when I adjusted them :( ) I have that backhoe job Wednesday and I need brakes for loading and unloading off the trailer. I got the new linkages made using turnbuckles, I got them adjusted in nicely and the tractor stops on a dime!.

Starting to see the shape of the cab a lot better now. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

Sorry the glass idea didn't pan out. It was worth the try though.

I've been terribly busy lately, I have been getting a little work done on it, but I haven't been posting anything. I got the most work done on it last weekend, I got all the plywood painted along with the lower half of the cab and I got it all assembled today.
