So I removed the main hydraulic line from off the charge pump ( Eaton Mod. 11) on the 5120H Bolens tonight after work. Does anybody have any experience with removing a stubborn line off the charge pump? What I am worried about is weather or not I may have damaged the seals in the charge pump. The tube nut on the line into the charge pump was really stuck. PB Blaster wasn't helping at all. I'm worried that the heat from my propane torch heating up the nut got things too hot. I could hear the oil boiling in the pump and it smelled a bit bad like burnt oil. The outside of the case cover may have reached 300' or so but I doubt it was that high because I could still put my hand on it briefly. anybody have any inside knowledge as to how these things hold up under brief high heat, say five minutes?

You should be fine. The heat transfer through the adapter couldn't be that great. It would probably be a good idea to replace the fitting o-ring though. Good luck with it.
