Figured I'd double-check the timing in the 18 HP twin I'm rebuilding and noticed that the crank gear is sloppy. Wish I would have seen this before I stuck $150 into it! Anyone run into this before? Do you think the crank is shot or just the gear and key/pin if which ever it has? Of course it has a ball bearing on it to be pressed off and replaced if that is the case. Anyone have a good crank to spare???

Since I am not sure yet what size it is, I hadn't jumped into here. I am going to guess an 18 hp, due to the six- speed and it had 23-10.50 tires on it.

I fixed your OCD, lol.

I can't help with the crank / gear info though.
