Here's my 1985 Allis 611 LTD. I found the tractor parked in a bush and the owner gave it to me. I replaced the blown 11hp with a NOS 12.5hp Briggs I/C. It came from a dealer about 20 miles from me. The only problem I'm having is it keep breaking deck belts.

Check that all bearings and pulleys spin free and are in alignment. Good Luck, Rick

Here's the dealer sticker. I noticed that the bottom pulley on engine is bent a bit. Any tips for straightening it out? I've also noticed most of the Simplicity's and Allis' (611/808GT/810GT/811GT..etc) with this front end all have broken grills.

Many brands have had those plastic type grills and then they design them so the TOP part sticks out the farthest in front. SO, when you hit something, the top corners are first to go!  Problem then is finding one that has NOT been damaged on a used machine.  I'm a fan of metal bumpers that many put on later down low to prevent such things happening.

That makes sense and the plastic seems pretty brittle. I know that Simplicity still offers a replacement grill for them. Too bad it's not orange though
