Bought this L tonight, non-runner. No idea on condition, by looking at the pics you will know as much as I do. I will pick it up on Sunday, only 6 miles from my house.

Looks interesting. That is quite the blower. Makes the set I got for mini me look tame.

Looks pretty nice shape , is this going to be used or for show ?  That snowblower sure looks scary . I wonder how that brush mower works with the double blade ?

On the Tollway we would ride a Gravely down the road cutting the weeds around the delineator(reflector) posts and guard rails. I figured I spent enough miles to go from DeKalb to Omaha. That big blade can really fire a beer can.

If I keep it, it will be as a backup snowblower. I would possibly keep the rough cut mower. The rotary plow will get checked over, ran to verify, repainted, and sold.

I'm sensing some of you think the dogeater snowblower is lacking in the safety department.

If this winter is anything like they predict, you'll be out there alone.

That is a cute dog you have there. Part Jack Russell and part Dachshund? The color markings are very close to our Jack.

He's actually a purebred according to his paperwork. He was part of a deal my sister made to purchase a cabinet business. The deal involved cash, electrical work, two dogs, two Cub Cadets, a miniature horse, and an acre of sweet corn.

Dachshund?

Good dog and an acre of sweetcorn would be hard to walk away from.  :D

Yep. Goes after gophers like a pothead going into a bag of Doritos: headfirst, scratching and biting.

Say what?!?!!? Do my eyes decieve me?!?! The Cat joining the Gravely ranks? Oh, the humanity! :hitting_self_roller:

It's a '53 5hp, if that's the original mill, and it does look it. The rotary plow looks in fine shape and has the shield. Twin blade 30" deck looks solid, skids look good. Dogeater will plow fine, keep the driveway clear of any and all varmints right through small to medium livestock and pepper like buckshot any neighbors house within an eigth of a mile.

If there's no spark, and the plug looks ok, bench check the mag(looks Wico). The carb looks to be steel. These get rusty from sitting, but come back ok with a good cleaning usually.

Wow, I thought I felt a tremor earlier, but would have never guessed this :rolling:

Edit: looking at the pics again. Is that electric start I see?
