My decal kit from Sam's finally arrived and I have question about the placement of two in particular- the "Hydrostatic Drive FMC" decals. I've researched the placement of everything else, but I have not seen these particular ones before. Can anyone identify where they go and or even post a picture of their placement? This is on a 1886-01.

Thanks!

Thank you. It appears they were on the 1476 and possibly the 1477 but I haven't seen them on a 1886 before. Perhaps they were specific to the early -01's?

I don't see why they would have used those as it already had HYDROSTATIC on the hood deals:

I would look, but both of my 1886-01's are missing. One's in NJ, and the other is in Michigan.

Those were only on the 14 HP large frames.    Sams kit is just a 1477 kit that they change a little and put 1886 on them.  Looks like they just never took that decal out of the kit.

I know there was not used on the 1886 but to make this 100% I looked on all mine and on google. I did not find one with that decal.

Thank you to everyone who chimed in!

I think I discovered what happened here. Last night while my body shop friend and I began installing the decals, I discovered that the one designed to fit over the two hydraulic control levers on the dash tower is not correct but is rather for an earlier model, I believe. It is too small to have the slots nor does it have the correct up and down arrows on the right hand side of the decal. Now, if you look back at the photo I posted above, you'll notice there's another decal on the left side of the same sheet- that's the one I'm referring to. I contacted Sam and told him what I discovered. It would make sense that since these three were printed on the same sheet, they are for an earlier model. He's going to send out the correct decal for the hydro levers.

My goal was to do a weekend photoshoot but it looks like it'll be put on hold until that new decal comes in.
