Hey - I need some information about the tags on attachments for the suburbans .

I have some attachments with the standard Sears and Roebuck tags - But today I found something with David Bradley on the tags.

Both of these attachments have the DB tag on them .

I bought them for $37.50 each  .

What is the difference ? I already have a Bottom Plow but could not pass on this one . My Uncle can use it. I needed the Cultivater for my collection .

the DB tags are  the older attachments, starting in 1962, Sears, sold/gave the company to its holding company called, Newark Ohio. Newark ran the plants until Roper took over the operations for good. Newark was also a maker of lawn mowers in the city of Newark, OH. The Db tag was replaced with one that was black and said Sears/Simpson on it. All the attachment are the same as far as I can tell, right up into the 80's.

Thanks a lot Lauber ! That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. So these are for sure the rare and original pieces . This guy said some lady was hauling them to the scrap pile when he got them and just wanted to get something for them . I have an S&R bottom plow and the DB plow , side by side they are exactly the same except for the tag. WOW - what a lucky find ! He was asking $60 each for them (which was a deal) but it was late in the day and we played stupid , he said $75 for both and I jumped on it.  :D

I was speaking of the 3 points Tillage tools. Not counting the different blades for the cultivator . = Sweeps -hillers-weeding hoes-between row-

and 14" sweeps -Middle buster -5x8 corn shovel for the foot unit , then you have the dozer blade - stand by generator - AP power sprayer -insect fogger and mower deck + the 3point hitch itself.

I am not in a Panic - I have the original 1959 Suburban Catalog - With the order forms - so I can just order them when I get ready

The early plows had square head nuts and bolts.
