The wife has had a '73 Challenger sitting at her dads since she parked it 18 years ago.

She also has a '65 Thunderbird that has been sitting in my driveway for 7 years. with out turning a wheel.

We made a deal this morning for a small town body shop to do the bodywork and paint on the Challenger in trade for the T-Bird. and a some cash.

From what I saw this morning, the guy does good work. We start moving cars next weekend.

I'm just happy something is getting done on the cars, since they have been taking up a lot of space. Soon I'll have to rearrange things to get the Challenger in the garage.

Happy day for me since the Sea-doo and her quad will have to go somewhere else, the boat can go where the T-bird is parked, and I can get some yard space back for tractors, and toys.

Happy day

When I am Grand Pooba of the planet all tales will be required to include pictures or reasonably drawn facsimile.  What's the timeline on completion?

I respectfully demand pictures of said challenger.

Said Challenger is not a beauty queen, Has been sitting in a horse pasture for 18 years. Still seems solid, and at least she is going to finally do something with it. T-Bird is original, 390 4bbl, slide away steering, all the options, even a power seat for the passenger side.

Wife got drunk at a wedding a few years back and came home with the T-Bird, The Challenger is something we traded a bunch of  home renovations for back in the 80's

Sorry these are the best pics I've got.

I don't know, I'd have gotten rid of the challenger and kept the bird.  That's a great looking one.

The T-bird has it's problems, specifically, a sagging front suspension. The paint is pretty rough too. It's appraised at 8500. The Challenger has a rare (apparently) VIN, and is worth double that in it's current condition, Driveable it will be worth around 40G, Restored would be double that. Even Really mint 65 birds around here are only 16-20G.

And the wife loves that Challenger almost more than her dogs and me. Notice I listed the dogs first.

Why has it taken you so long to give said wife a pint of vodka and a check book, again?

Didn't have to, she comes home with her own toys, for the most part
